Before and After

Boy, was I surprised when I picked up Wild Wendy after her first grooming.  Looks like an entirely different dog.  I think I like the shaggy look a little better.  Her undercoat was somewhat matted so she had to be shorn.  Now I think I'll know how to brush her better. She even acts a little differently. . . baby, it's cold outside, and she is reluctant to put her paws out the door.

  2. Wild Wendy looks fabulous! Our neighbor's dog is a Westie and when he gets his haircut, he looks like a totally different dog. Just when you get use to the look, the old scruffy look is back :)

  3. I wouldn't want to go out the door in the nude in Minnesota at this time of year, either! Sheesh!

  4. Hello, Wendy is a sweetie. Her new haircut is short, I can see why she would feel cold. The shaggy look is my favorite. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

  7. She is so adorable. I had a dog with hair like hers and I always liked it better when she was shaggy but, then it would get really matted and I've have to groom her and we'd start the growing process again.

  8. "Oh, Mom! What have you done to me?!" She's such a cutie! You may have to break down and get her a doggie jacket.

  9. Agreed - I think I like her a little "shabbier". She looks so much smaller with her new cut. Shabby or shorn…she's a cutie.

  13. She looks so tiny and sweet, kind of like a little lamb. Wild Wendy suggests maybe she's not such a lamb, but she sure is cute.
